VXA Sports designs and makes men’s competition swim briefs, inspired by Japanese minimalist design principles.

Many competitive swimmers know the frustration: lower-stretch lining fabrics make an already snug brief even more uncomfortable, and sizing up to ease pressure in the front only leaves everything else loose and baggy.

We believe a great competition brief should do three things well — a close, body-hugging fit to minimize drag, durable flat-lock seams to prevent chafing, and a narrow side cut that keeps your legs free to move.

Every VXA brief is carefully constructed from a chlorine-resistant 80% polyamide (or nylon) / 20% elastane fabric with flat-lock seams throughout. Like most competition briefs, the front panel is seamless for maximum compression and comfort — but we add a center back seam to every style, giving a closer rear fit that won’t balloon or trap water.
